We build and site a store to your own unique requirements. Because good firewood badly stored is just wet firewood by February.
Our story
A good log store keeps firewood raised off the ground, dry from above and open to moving air at the sides.
Made-to-measure stores can be sized around the household’s normal order, access and the shape of the site instead of forcing a standard unit into the wrong place.
A roof with a sensible overhang, a raised base and ventilated sides protect the value of dry firewood without trapping moisture.
Log-store enquiries remain available even while general forestry work is paused.
Four rules
Anywhere off the ground so air can flow freely underneath. Used pallets will do at a push.
A raised base with slatted sides and an open front lets the stack breathe rather than sweat.
Essential — and sloped away from the house or building walls, not towards them.
If you can, put it somewhere with good airflow and sun on it. It makes a real difference by January.
